Eleventh Hour IT Installation for International Games Developer
Here’s how we made sure that an international games developer, left in the lurch at the last minute by its existing IT provider, was able to open its new London office on time against all the odds.
Huuuge Games is an international games developer and publisher working at the heart of the multi-billion dollar mobile gaming market. Operating in the niche social gaming sector, the company is focused on creating games that are fun to play and that encourage bonding with new friends.
With nine offices already established in various locations worldwide, including three in Poland plus in Dublin, Amsterdam, Tel Aviv and Las Vegas, Huuuge Games was poised to open a tenth in London to support its rapid global growth.
The brief
Huuuge Games was gearing up to move into its new offices in North Audley Street, West London and was ready for its IT installation. However, at the eleventh hour, they were let down by their existing provider and left in the lurch.
Contacting us on a Friday at 11am, Huuuge Games asked for our help to get them up and running. But time was of the essence, as they needed us on the premises by 9am on the Monday. With only the weekend to prepare, we set to work on a plan to get them up and running by their deadline.
The solution
As a technology company with a global reach, it was vital that Huuuge Games was fully connected and ready to roll in time for the launch of its London office.
On the day, our team unpacked and installed six laptops and 12 monitors, two for each PC. We ran all the cabling within the supplied desks, leaving everything safe and tidy.
We then connected all the PCs in to the existing internet network, and logged in to the Huuuge Games Poland-based IT system to complete the installation and get everyone up and running, all ready to give the London office the smooth and efficient launch it deserved.
Our IT technician was onsite throughout to manage the entire installation and provide guidance as required, and we were only too happy to make all the arrangements at incredibly short notice.
Huuuge Games was very appreciative of the effort we made to accommodate their last minute request.
